international buyers and sellers
Jaleesa Peluso is an Orange County Realtor® and one of only 4,000 Certified International Property Specialists in the US.
Born in the Netherlands, Jaleesa is well-educated and bright. Her ability to connect with people and create high-quality marketing campaigns makes her one of the industry’s rising stars. Over the course of her real estate career Jaleesa has earned a reputation for her work ethic, sociability and honest personality. She is truly committed to providing her clients with the best possible service from the first meeting to well beyond the transaction.
Previously the International Marketing Manager for Hunter Douglas Europe, Jaleesa found success in real estate as a result of her thorough industry knowledge and extensive luxury marketing experience. She sold her first million dollar home within just 4 months of entering the business. Today, Jaleesa has established a record of guiding local, national and international clients with their Orange County real estate acquisitions and investments. Her areas of expertise include international real estate, luxury homes, first-time buyers, investment homes, buyer and seller representation and leasing.
When asked to explain why she chose a career in real estate, Jaleesa explained that, “I really loved my marketing job but I often missed a real personal connection with other people. I knew that as a real estate agent I would be able to build close relationships with my clients and leverage my marketing expertise and experience to help them realize their dreams.”
Jaleesa Peluso is known to build close relationships with both her clients and fellow real estate agents throughout the county. She is passionate about the needs and goals of her clients, and specializes in bringing peace of mind to home buyers and sellers who have previously struggled in real estate on their own or with another agent. Jaleesa’s clients will tell you that she epitomizes integrity, honesty, energy, hard work, and creative service in every detail of your real estate transaction.
Jaleesa and her team at Berkshire Hathaway serve all of (South) Orange County, including: Laguna Beach, Dana Point, Corona del Mar, Laguna Niguel, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Lake Forest, Ladera Ranch, Newport Beach, Laguna Woods, Corona del Mar, Costa Mesa, Irvine, Tustin, Aliso Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, Mission Viejo, Huntington Beach, Foothill Ranch, Orange, Laguna Hills, 94and Rancho Mission Viejo.
Jaleesa, born and raised in the Netherlands, started her sales habit early, with a variety of sales jobs in her teenage years. At age 16 she started her own international company, selling ‘Skimboards’ which she imported from the US and sold in Northern Europe. Jaleesa started college at age 17 and is a business graduate of The Hague University. Her degree is equivalent to a MBA with a specialization in marketing. This provides her with an educational background that is unique in the Real Estate business.
Eight years ago Jaleesa met her husband, a commercial real estate broker, Laguna Beach native and graduate of USC (go Trojans!) and UCLA, while she was visiting the skimboarding capital of the world: Laguna Beach. Together they love to explore the great outdoors, traveling, skiing, hiking, mountain biking and surfing.
A resident of Laguna Beach, Jaleesa is involved in her community as a member of the Orange County and Laguna Beach Board of Realtors, through her volunteer position on the Fundraising Event Committee of the Pacific Marine Mammal Center in Laguna Beach, and her membership at South Shores Church in Dana Point.

Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS)
Orange County is an attractive real estate market to foreign buyers (and sellers). International transactions are however significantly different and more complex than domestic deals. From currency issues and financing to visa and tax laws, working with a REALTOR® who knows how to handle these differences can make or break the purchase or sale of your home. Because of these nuances, it is essential to work with a knowledgeable and trusted professional.
A Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designee has undergone specialized training to complete international transactions seamlessly and with reduced risk. The CIPS designation is the only international designation recognized by the National Association of REALTORS®. Only REALTORS® who have completed the coursework and demonstrated considerable experience in international business can call themselves a CIPS designee, and use the name and logo. Designees are well-informed and prepared to work with international clients, so you can be sure they will provide a smooth and seamless experience for foreign buyers. They have access to a wide network of professionals to assist you with inbound or outbound transactions around the globe.
Out of roughly 300,000 California Realtors, only 450 have the CIPS designation.
